These Terms govern your use of macx.com.bd and any software licence, subscription or service procured from MacX. By engaging us you accept these Terms in full.
1. About MacX
MacX is a software licensing and reselling firm registered in Dhaka, Bangladesh (Trade Licence TRAD/DNCC/004161/2022, BIN 005023971-0401). We are an Adobe Certified Reseller and an authorised distribution partner for the publishers listed on our Partners page.
2. Quotations & Orders
Quotations are valid for fourteen calendar days unless stated otherwise. An order is binding upon issuance of a Purchase Order against a MacX quotation, or upon written confirmation by email.
3. Payment
Standard terms are 50% advance and 50% on delivery for new clients, and net-15 for established clients. Invoices are issued in BDT under your BIN with Mushak 6.3 documentation. Foreign-currency pricing is billed at the prevailing T/T selling rate of our banking partner.
4. Delivery & Activation
Standard SLAs:
- Adobe and Microsoft seats — same business day.
- Autodesk, Figma, Notion, ChatGPT and similar — within 24 hours.
- Specialised or custom-sourced titles — 3 to 7 business days.
5. Licence Ownership
Licences are activated to your corporate identity (Adobe ID, Microsoft tenant, domain etc.). MacX does not retain administrative control over licences after activation, unless you specifically engage us for managed-services administration.
6. Support
Every licence sold by MacX includes one year of first-line technical support during business hours (Sunday to Thursday, 10:00–18:00 BST). Out-of-scope work is quoted separately.
7. Limitation of Liability
Our total liability under any order is limited to the fees paid to MacX under that order in the preceding twelve months. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit or data.
8. Intellectual Property
All software remains the intellectual property of its publisher. You agree to abide by the End User Licence Agreement of each publisher.
9. Confidentiality
Both parties shall treat as confidential any non-public information exchanged in the course of an engagement, and shall use it solely for the purposes of that engagement.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. The courts of Dhaka shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
